OUR CHARITY
Nicolette, alongside founding board members, formed the Sea to Sky Thrivers Society, a registered charity and non-profit society, to focus on supporting BIPOC communities, youth, and physicians in learning about the innate power of the human body and its ability to heal itself.
Inspired by her community in the coastal mountains of British Columbia, the Board chose to name the society Sea to Sky Thrivers to represent the nutrients we need to thrive—nutrients found in the sea, soil, plants all around us, and in the air we breathe.
Sea to Sky Thrivers also means helping all communities globally, from ocean-side communities to the highest mountain tops.

FUND A SCHOLARSHIP
Our work is currently focused on educating and training BIPOC, women, single parents, people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and LGBTQ individuals in lifestyle medicine through our Nutrition+Detox Coaching Certification 6-Month Program.
We teach marginalized groups how to reverse their chronic lifestyle conditions using traditional foods as medicine so they may rise up and free themselves of the physical, economic, emotional, and mental limitations that come with managing chronic illnesses. These individuals face disproportionate barriers to accessing quality employment, pay, promotions, and health care, which impacts their capacity to meaningfully support themselves, their families, let alone their communities.
Graduates of our program will gain expertise in preventing, halting, and reversing chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease while building sustainable incomes. Your support will provide scholarships for our certification program, fostering individual growth and community-wide transformations.
